Belluno it is connected to the ancient village: Borgo Prà, thanks to the “Straw bridge” that allows you to cross the Ardo river, linked to commercial traffic. The bridge was called “Straw” because of the roof that characterized it and that it was necessary because since always to pass it had to pay the toll and the duty. The bridge has undergone several restorations up to the current state. The bridge is mentioned in historical documents in 1378. The ancient wooden structure collapsed in 1503, in 1505 and during its reconstruction, this time in stone, in 1507. The most solid restoration took place in 1852, while in 1908, during a reconstruction to raise the street level, the stream in full he carried away the scaffolding and the ditch of the irrigation ditch, placing side by side the structure on the south side. In 1960 the canal was demolished and with it the canal that turned to the south.
